After thirty plus years of providing a variety of therapeutic and professional services in private, third sector and NHS settings, my focus now is upon Clinical Supervision for Practitioners and Mindful Photography for individuals and groups in nature settings for maintaining and enhancing wellbeing.

CLINICAL SUPERVISION

Clinical Supervision, training and consultation for Practitioners:

For almost three decades, I have supported practitioners in their practice and self-care, facilitating their personal growth and professional competences. Having wide ranging, deep clinical experiences in my own practice and supervising practitioners in individual and group settings and has imbued my capacity to understand and offer practitioners a collaborative and reflective space where they can gain insight and cultivate resilience, ethical perspective and creativity, ultimately for the benefit of their patients/clients. Clinical Supervision is available for practitioners (outdoors in nature, or by video or telephone).

Mindful Photography

Mindful Photography through nature connection for individuals and groups:

Mindful photography is a sensory-based experience to encourage and develop present-moment awareness and connection within ourselves and with our environment. You can have a nurturing, restorative one to one personal journey with me or a shared group/community practice where we still our minds and deepen our connection with natural environments and create images, most often with a phone camera. 

We engage with the clinically proven, restorative powers of natural green and blue environments (forests, bodies of water, parks, gardens, or even a single tree). The result is a state of soft fascination or curiosity, which calms the nervous system, producing a profound sense of peacefulness, belonging and sustainable wellbeing.

Mindful Photography is not about technical skill or perfect pictures. It’s a meditative practice with a phone/camera, tailored to the individual or group needs. The images created serve as reminders of the calm and connected experience.
